Former Staff

Dustin Plutzer (Associate Producer) Dustin grew up in Long Island, New York where he liked to skateboard, wear odd-looking pants, and play music at obnoxiously loud levels.  Eventually Dustin waved farewell to New York and set off for paradise…San Diego, CA.   He took full advantage of the pub crawls and beach drinking, but worked hard in-between. He was self-employed as a real estate agent, eventually giving that up to sell advertising for Clear Channel Radio.  Still unsatisfied, he returned to New York City, taking night classes at The City College of New York management where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in communications while working as a project manager in commercial construction.  He interned at SiriusXM radio for “the king of all media,” Howard Stern, as well as “The Michelangelo Signorile Show”.  Somehow Pete Dominick and his hairy-armed producer Alfred decided to give him and his mouthful of teeth a shot, and the rest is history.

Aaron “A-Dog” Hodges (Co-Producer) Aaron Hodges began his career in broadcasting by taking the Audio for Electronic Media program at the Ocean County Vocational Technical School, where he learned the skills of his craft such as multimedia production, microphone design and application, computer digital editing and mastering, etc. He then later attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, during which he applied for an internship on The Howard Stern Show, who welcomed Aaron to stay for two semesters. Afterward he spent about six months applying for “every radio job known to man,” he says, before finally finding a home on the Indie Talk channel (Sirius 110) and the show “Pete’s Big Mouth” (now known as “Stand Up! With Pete Dominick”) where he as remained ever since, supporting Bertollo and the rest of the team with show content, preparation, audio production and so forth.

Jared Rizzi (Executive Producer)
Jared is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in political science. He focused on Middle Eastern studies, learned an unfortunately small amount of the Arabic language, and was a student with the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace on ND’s campus. His work in radio began at WSND and WVFI on that campus, dabbled at WTBQ in upstate New York, earned his stripes at the 50,000 watt blowtorch of the Midwest, KMOX-AM in St Louis, and most recently was down the hall on The Catholic Channel (Sirius 159/XM 117). Jared has also been active with both major parties in several political campaigns since 2000; he has always volunteered for one political party, and always paid by the other. He has been the Producer of Stand UP! since September 2009.

Sean “Dragon Breath” Bertollo (Former Executive Producer)
Sean Bertollo received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies/Broadcast Journalism from East Stroudsburg University (ESU), Pennsylvania. He began his career with Sirius XM Radio with an internship on the Raw Dog channel (Sirius 104) in 2005 and, after graduating from ESU, in 2007 was formerly employed by Raw Dog. On February 6, 2008, Sean moved over to the newly formed Indie Talk channel (Sirius 110) to work on the Ron Silver Show, but a couple weeks later on February 21, he joined the launch of “Pete’s Big Mouth” as an Associate Producer, ultimately becoming the show’s Executive Producer in the summer of 2008. Now Sean, along with the rest of the team, ensure that Pete Dominick is able to “Stand Up!” to the challenges facing America today!
