Today on #SUPD

Daily Beast editor-in-chief and CNN contributor, John Avlon, helped make sense of the latest polls in the Presidential election, as things get serious with just over two months left before election day.

Then, Pete’s brother Brian Dominick hung out for the meaty middle section of the show, where the siblings discussed everything from failures of Capitalism to police brutality, the Presidential Election, environmentalism and more. SO MUCH MORE.

Today’s last guest was astronomer Phil Plait who, both at Slate’s Bad Astronomy blog and at his @BadAstronomer account on Twitter, challenges himself, and us, to separate bad science from good. Pete and Phil discussed what motivates people to oppose climate science and whether or not radio signals in Russia could lead to contact with an alien race (it won’t).
