No Solyndras? Why Romney?

If Romney's whole argument is that his experience at Bain capital makes him uniquely qualified to be president,

Yet he argues against doing Solyndras, picking winners and losers, investing with government money,

Why should we elect HIM?

He won't do exactly what he claims to be uniquely qualified to do.

But you know, in the end he will.

Romney doesn't 'understand' business, he despises it. His whole career has been in taking over businesses and 'fixing' them, or destroying them.

He has no respect for the American Businessman.

And you want to give him a multi-trillion dollar fund with which to play?

Well, I see everybody willing to actually make an argument agrees with me.

There is no reason to elect Romney president if he opposes the Federal executive branch doing the kinds of things that he, Romney, claims to be uniquely qualified to do.

Good partisan argument. As far as I've seen (and Yes, I could easily be wrong as I'm not a follower of Mitch)...but his argument against Solyndra is that it wasn't approved through the standard SBA processes, and based on the sheer size of the Loan guarantee it placed it outside of the realm of the SBA...so WHY did the Gov't get involved? He's charging that it was crony capitalism...I don't know that it was or wasn't...but it definitely makes me wonder what truly happened.

I think he respects businesses, not sure where you're coming from on this argument...as for giving him a multi-trillion dollar fund...well, the president on has FULL control over the amounts that Congress doesn't appropriate on an annual basis...It's not really all that much that he has full control on (relative to the size of the budget/deficit).

As for voting for Mitch? The choices are slim in this election...I've not (personally) decided whom I have the least amount of faith in yet...Barry Vs. Mitch - right now it's a wash for me...

We Democrats were kind of locked in on our offering.
