Congressman Paul Broun of Georgia’s 10th district joined us today. He is really, really afraid of Barack Obama. I just cant imagine why a Georgia boy would be so afraid of Barack Obama. He is really worried about socialism. He got all the talking points out. I forget if he said the American people don’t want this jammed down their throat. But wait till the last minute. Fast foward if you get a stomach ache.

I read Broun’s bill yesterday after your show and was not impressed. I liked eliminating the taxable limits for medical deductions. But, the medicare voucher idea and the idea to sell health plans across state lines worries me. I’m not sure what he’s trying to do with the EMTALA but the way I read it, it seems like he wants the ability to send patients away if their condition is not deemed an emergency.
