Ain’t Got Time to Weed

Today on #SUPD

Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen and the Global Poverty Project, stopped by to talk up this year’s Global Citizen Festival in NYC and the companion app that asks users to help end poverty in easy, unique ways.

SNL cast members present and past, Bobby Moynihan and Taran Killam, joined us in-studio to chat up their new comedy, “Brother Nature,” out this Friday in theaters and available in digital release. We discussed being in Nature, being famous, being Arnold Schwarzenegger, being Donald Trump, and being very very funny.

Then, Pete picked up the thread of education once again this week, talking with Charles Best, founder and CEO of Donors Choose, to discuss the ways in which his organization makes aids the educational needs of teachers in classrooms across the country.

We closed out today’s show with former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura. Pete and The Body discussed the ways in which cannabis use has helped him and can help millions of others, his new job working for RT, and his new book, “Marijuana Manifesto.”

It’s weird that the movie Predator came up during today’s show, and not in the segment featuring one of its stars…
