About This Site

StandUpWithPeteDominick.com is an interactive community experience. This is an action-oriented site. At the end of the most prosperous year in Pete Dominick’s career, he decided that his own identity is tied intimately with his call-in political talk show, Stand Up! with Pete Dominick. That show is, in turn, driven by two outside factors: Pete’s onstage comedy life and the tens of thousands of listeners who tune in every day and make Stand Up! what it has become. So instead of revolving this new site around Pete, the comedian, he decided to gear it toward the new community forming around the Stand Up! call-in show, and of course the content of his comedy.

So you can use this site to book Pete for a gig – he’s not too big to do an hour at your grandfather’s nursing home if the money is right. But more importantly, you can use this site to get involved — with the show, with the issues, with society.

The Volunteers

This site would not be possible if not for the volunteer efforts of several fans of the show. The following listeners go above and beyond in contributing to make StandUpWithPeteDominick.com a lively, compelling website.

davidDavid in BC is one of Pete’s long-time listeners from Canada, who has been with the show since its days as “Pete’s Big Mouth” on Indie Talk. Since it airs during his work hours, he is not able to call as often as he would like, forcing him to instead yell impotently at the radio (and bewildering his co-workers). David is the creative force behind both the Facebook group and the Data Portal. The reason he created the Data Portal is because there were so many guests about whom he wanted to learn more, usually through the websites they often shared; he thought there were probably other listeners like him out there so he decided to make his efforts public for other listeners to appreciate. During the creation of this official website David was invited to join the team and continue his efforts here, which he enthusiastically accepted.
